Support materials for branches – information for volunteers

Support materials for branches are a knowledge base serving all Finnish Red Cross volunteers. If you are looking for an introduction to the Finnish Red Cross volunteer roles, you can find them on the RedCross.fi/become-a-volunteer.

The Branch Office is divided into two sections

• Support for volunteering – information supporting all volunteers
• Support for branches – information specifically aimed at branch board members

A quick induction package has been created for the key branch volunteer responsibility roles, which includes descriptions of board and contact person roles. The role descriptions explain what tasks are included in the role, who provides support for carrying out the task, what training is recommended for the person in the role, and which materials are good to review.
