Restoring and Maintaining Family Links training

Restoring and maintaining family links training module

Target group: Volunteers of Red Cross chapters and Red Cross staff at district level and head office

Strong recommendation: participants have completed the Supporting Integration training module

Duration: 3 hours

Training objective: volunteers and staff become familiar with Restoring Family Links (RFL), the programme for restoring and maintaining family links and its related activities, and know how to act.

Participants' learning objectives:

1) can explain the Movement's role in restoring and maintaining family links

2) can advise where to find accurate and precise information about the Restoring Family Links programme

3) can direct a person who needs to restore family links to the right place

4) can act in accordance with the principles of the Red Cross.

After the training, the participant knows what kind of help and support the Red Cross offers for restoring and maintaining family links, and can refer those in need of help onwards when necessary.
