Everyday Support training is intended for volunteers who want to work as volunteers in everyday support volunteer activities. Everyday support is a short-term volunteer task in which you help a person who has moved to the municipality in settling in and explore the local area together.

The training lasts 3 hours and consists of 4 parts:

1. Background

2. Everyday Support meeting models

3. In practice

4. What next

The training provides the chapter and volunteers with sufficient knowledge and skills to start and carry out everyday support activities, so that the chapter can, through its own activities, enable a seamless integration path as part of the chain of help, as well as contribute to cooperation and an accepting atmosphere in the locality.

Prerequisites

Please complete the Supporting Integration training before this training.

Delivery methods

The training can be delivered as in-person or remote training; find upcoming training sessions in Oma Punainen Risti.

The training materials are available in Finnish and Swedish.
