Getting involved (see also: Information for the new volunteer)

• I sign up as a volunteer.
• I create a profile in the OMA Punainen Risti system.
• I will be contacted and receive an invitation to get involved.

Becoming part of the community

• I participate in an introduction and task-specific training.
• I start as a volunteer.
• If I am not yet a member, I can join.
• I get to know other helpers and commit to the values of the Red Cross.

As a helper in the Red Cross

• My skills and experience grow.
• I receive support and guidance.
• I continue as a volunteer and am part of the organization's emergency preparedness.
• I can move from one task to another and take on more responsibility if I wish.
