The Finnish Red Cross operates sobering-up stations at around 20 festivals and summer events during the summer season.

At the sobering-up station, trained volunteers assess the situation of an intoxicated person, look after their well-being and safety for the duration of their recovery, and help connect them with additional support if needed.

The goal is for the world to look a little brighter when leaving the sobering-up station.
