The branches' websites are being renewed

The Red Cross local branches have their own websites at the address branches.redcross.fi. Each branch's page has at least contact information and a short introductory text, from which it is easy to continue editing the content, for example to present the branch's activities. Current bulletins and news about the branch can also be published on the pages.

The central purpose of the branch pages is to tell the local reader where they can get help and support, as well as how they can act as a volunteer. The pages are continuously developed, and branches are asked to give feedback with a low threshold. The pages have been developed with openness, accessibility, findability, and locality at the forefront, without compromising on technical security. The pages can also be updated effortlessly with a smartphone.

Support for updating the branch pages

There is a peer support group in Oma for everyone editing the branch pages. There, the volunteers and employees editing the branch pages can give each other support with the branch pages, ask questions, share ideas, and communicate about updates and possible bugs. Volunteer Information to replace Rednet

At the same time as the branch pages are being renewed, the other content in Rednet will also be transferred to this new Volunteer Information site. After this, the old pages will be closed and the links updated, so that in the future you will find all information related to volunteer activities in one place.
