REST is our personnel database, where you can fill in your contact details, work experience and education, as well as much more that will help us find you when opening a position. Before applying for any position, make sure that your profile in REST is complete.
Finnish Red Cross (FRC) positions at HQ and in the field will be posted here on the reserve pages. New postings will appear on the front pages and also under the open positions link on the left. You can apply for positions by updating your profile in REST and sending your application consisting of a cover letter (in the email or attached) and optionally an up to date CV, by the deadlines indicated to recruitment@redcross.fi.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) opens its positions on www.ifrc.org/working-with-us/vacancies. Before filling in any applications, please contact us in the HR team as delegates are mainly funded by us. Any possible application processes should be done in cooperation with the HR-officers. All funding decisions are based upon the Finnish Red Cross strategy for international aid. Positions with the IFRC that are of particular strategic importance to us will also be posted separately here in the reserve pages. Filling in the e-profile on JobNet can take a few hours, so feel free to do that at any point so that you have the profile ready once a suitable positions appears.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) recruitment of Finnish citizens is initially handeled by the FRC. We are constantly trying to increase the number of delegates with the ICRC delegates, especially so called polyvalent and cooperation delegates. If you are interested in working for the ICRC, please contact us and we will consider your profile and how we could possible proceed.
