Online Courses
Kompassi Learning Environment
You can take part in online trainings and self-paced courses through the Red Cross online learning platform. Some in-person trainings may also include online components (hybrid courses). If you are participating in a hybrid course, you will receive login credentials and instructions from your course trainer.
Most courses are immediately available to everyone, and you can start learning at any time by creating an account in the learning environment. We recommend using the same email address you use for Oma Punainen Risti when signing in.
The Welcome to the Red Cross online course, designed for all new volunteers, is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
Online Courses by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
As a Red Cross volunteer, you can also register for the IFRC’s online learning platform. Most courses are available primarily in English.
