Action Groups

The Red Cross has health promotion action groups specialising in substance abuse work, whose activities you can participate in. The groups plan their own activities based on regional needs. Group members, among other things, go out to youth events and gatherings, provide training on the prevention of drug deaths and first aid for people who use substances, visit youth facilities and fairs, collaborate with other volunteers in the branch, and work at sobering stations at festivals. You can join a group once you have become interested in its activities, and you will receive training for the role you wish to carry out.
